Presume that was a Volante, otherwise the expectation of $180k is ludicrous, since manual coupes are abundant in 09 guise. I don't see DBS prices on the up yet, but they may be close to bottoming out, if not having already done so.

I think prices have slipped.

Last year there was 1 or 2 Volantes for sale here on PH. Looking now there’s 12. Still relatively rare but more for sale

No, it was in fact a coupe - I haven't seen a single DBS Volante Manual for sale in the US. The Sales guy was relatively straight forward to talk to and he mentioned that the owner felt that due to mileage, condition and last year for the manual transmission he had a particularly valuable car.

As others have mentioned there is a much larger supply of 08/09 DBS Manuals and I'm still hopeful of getting a reasonable price for one of those cars. Britaway, if you reconsider selling yours send me a PM. I'm NC/ NY based.

Did you check out the dealer in NJ?

https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehiclede...

There were two manual DBS coupes for sale in the US in the last little while and now there is only one. The other one was also asking the $130k mark so I'm curious how much that sold for if it sold.

I did speak with the dealer in NJ, nice guy but unusual car. Very clean, clean carfax but absolutely no history of any kind. Car has never been serviced or been back to AM. It's also passed through a lot of wholesalers / intermediaries which leads me to speculate that there is something about it that a large dealer does not want to deal with. I suppose could do a PPI and take it from there but it left me a little bit cold.

Looks like they are still moving up in price in the USA. 2009 manuals are asking $144k-150k.

The market is undergoing a correction of sorts this month.

While, that owner of the 2011 Quantum Silver car in Dallas is stilling holding out at 175k for the right buyer and another perfect example -a 2009 Casino Royale Grey with 9k miles & AM warranty (SCFAB05D39GE00332) is being sold by the owner of a Classic Car showroom in Long Island for 155k.

Some cracks are beginning to show, a 2009 Glacial Silver with 18k miles (SCFAB05D99GE00397) car went online at a Porsche dealer in PA last week for 116k. In Hickory, NC there's a 38k miles 2009 Meteorite Silver (SCFAB05D99GE00352) for sale at just 104k.

I might have to trade in my 911 soon.

I just bought the aforementioned 2011 Quantum DBS from the seller directly. It's been a back and forth for over a year. Although I didn't pay the 175 I did pay a premium relative to a 2009 but I was adamant in wanting full leather and the B&O option alongside a manual.....this also had the super sport quicksilver exhaust and a full clear bra, things I would have done and as a perk came with a second set of wheels and a brand new drivers seat (might turn this into a chair).

Either way excited to be back in a DBS specced the way I've searched for over 4 years. Thought I'd share and curious to see how the values shift...I love the car so whatever it is is worth it to me.

Great info!

Anyone have definitive DB9 stats for all variants?

I have a manual Volante and believe there are only around 70 in the UK but would love to know official stats.

That's interesting, I was told they made 2840 DBS's, maybe yours includes special editions, Zagato's etc and mine doesn't.

I spent well over a year searching for a Ceramic Gray DBS - they are beautiful but like gold dust. I had a line on a few but noone willing to sell. In the end, I went for Quantum which I also love. I’ve had it now for nearly 2 years. In that time, I’ve seen 3 ceramic grays for sale - one of which looked perfect but sold before it even hit the market. There is one for sale now I think at JCT Leeds; it’s priced reasonably but high-ish mileage.

He’s mine...

Congratulations Diplo, the owner Steven seemed like a great guy over the phone but I couldn't mentally breach the $150k mark. I'm sure you've gotten a very well cared for car.

Seems to be lots of silver cars coming on the market recently, but I favor a Grey / Black example. As they say, the thrill is in the chase!
