I had some hard cases fabricated by UK company 'Bespoke Luggage' (with HQ in the USA). The leather used was from Bridge of Weir to match the Sahara Tan of my interior. Really lends a touch of class to the car. Don't know why AM doesn't offer equivalent bespoke luggage...soft cases hardly qualifies IMO.

Pricey, but they are custom designed to fit the boot and the leather has that wonderful AM aroma, just like the interior of the car.

Any way, have a look see....

Beautiful. Really stunning.

When you say pricey, what are we talking? (if you don't mind me asking)

I have half a set from them, just two hard cases... still awiting for the rest. It has been a very, very long time now frown

Before any one asks... yes I have a collection of hampers as well, I think we have 5 of them..?

Nicest we have is a leather bag from Dunill, titanium cuylery, polycarbonate crockery and a rug with a twister mat on the reverse side smile Found it! http://www.gentlemansgadgets.com/dunhill-picnic-ba...

Did you get the soft bags as well? Volante boot layout from Bespoke Lugage is two hard cases with soft bags either side and then 2 soft bags for the rear seats as well.

They look great!

Looked at this Luggae firm a while back - problem for me is that the cases are a very oddball shape and I think that limits what you can use them for, particularly as if something is just a tiny bit too large, in a rigid case you simply can't do anythign about it - in reality, despite looking stunning, the Aston soft bags are actually more practical IMO.

In UK pounds, probably around 2K - 2.5K. Certainly cheaper than AM luggage.

No plans for soft bags, but I will be designing a couple of semi-rigid bags for the rear parcel area. These will be zippered with hard front and backs, and semi-rigid sides, much like an airline carry on bag. Sometime over the winter...

Soft is more practical without a doubt. But just as the Aston is a looker, I wanted the luggage to be equally stylish.

I think that's very reasonable value for what it is. Different to whether you call it pricey of course

FYI, the AM luggage is not too bad pricewise IMO. They discount the set if you buy all 4 pieces and charge a surprisingly modest premium for customised colours. I have the price list at home but from memory, they will do the large holdall, small holdall, garment bag & beauty case in any leather from the AM range for about 2.2k and to match any colour at all for around 2.5k - I'll look it up when I get home

But there is no question your cases look far far better and really are stunning - it's purely the practicality aspect for me which put me off

I love the fact you are discussing spending over two grand on a bit of luggage......very good luck to anyone who can afford it and wants it! I'm very jealous! Personally I couldn't even begin to justify it to myself let alone the other half!!!!

Perhaps I can discuss it because I don't have an other half ! It was however a previous other half that got me into quality bags & luggage......... compared to Bottega, let alone Hermes, this is all quite good value :-). Again, I'm not saying cheap, just good value for what it is.

I did get Hermes to quote me on a one off bespoke messenger bag to fit in the space behind the seat of my Vantage Roadster...........I dropped out when they quoted me £13.5k !!!

Hahaha I like your reply! "I'm single and I'll do what I like!"....I do remember those days....or maybe I don't, maybe it's just my imagination.....as I said I'm only jealous.....
I can see how you can get into liking luggage and I'm sure George H has some form of collection displayed in a cabinet somewhere!

To me, it's like a Mont blanc pen...I'd love one of those too but can't really bring myself to spend £400 on something I'm likely to lose or leave somewhere.... but I do often look at them!

PS - What colour did you say the luggage was? My screen makes it look Banana yellow.......

My screen too !

Just dbl checked for anyone that's interested on prices of the Aston soft luggage - in black nubuck or tan saddle leather, the 4 pcs that fit the boot of V8/DB9/DBS are £1,790 when priced individually but discounted to 1,491 as a set, 2,189 as a set in a standard Aston colour and 2,265 in a non standard (colour to match)

Nope, I've only got regular Samsonite cases, I'd be terrified putting something that price in the hold of a plane since I don't go on driving holidays smile

Now I'd expect Yeti has a collection, with a piece of luggage customised to match each car wink

I do have a nice tan 3-piece set yes, also the Aston leather suit carrier (the best designed I have come across) and of course my Parliament Green set lined in Moonstone leather to match the car from Bespoke luggage.

If you don't tour in the car, then yes, zero point having it as if they match your leather they look silly if you use them when not with the car biggrin
