That's a shame. You'll need to find some other knobs to work with now.

That's a real pity Tony - you were the first owner I met up with after I bought my DB9; coffee at Brooklands and then some good car photos at the Golf club nearby. End of an era, good luck and hope you get another!

We never met, but my knobs are there to remind me of you. Good luck for the future.

weeping Sorry to hear that Tony. Like Lewis, you were also one of the 1st owners Tony and I met, supporting the Woodman lunch gatherings.

Gonna miss your gruff charm and humour, not your company as you will always be asked to join in any future lunch meets, Aston or not, and I hope you will come.

What with your knobs, plaques, and bringing together so many at Hever, this forum and Aston owners generally owe you a lot.

See you soon I hope, and we will keep in touch.

Love Di & Tony

I can only echo what Di says above.
Thanks for the knobs and plaques and for organising the Hever events.

I'm sure you'll still drop in here from time to time.

Cheers

Sad to see you've left the marquee. Hope you come back sooner rather than later. Your knobs will live on.

Cheers,

That was a gazebo and not a marquee.

(sorry that was way too gifted to pass by)

Just to echo everyone else's sentiments though, Tony will certainly be missed. All his work for Hever is especially recognised.
I'm sure he'll persist on here with knob comments though

Surely not… is that it Tony? Here’s me thinking a DBS was in the offing.

Is this really your farewell thread? Sorry to see you go, if it is. frown

Tony, really sorry to hear this - likewise the first other owner I met at Brooklands at the beginning of the year. All the best and good luck with whatever is next.

Cheers

On this most sentimental of threads, wishing our former comrade in arms a hearfelt adieu, why is there a picture of Michael Gould's grinning mug half way down the page?

More an 'au revoir' than an 'adieu' I feel le Yeti.

A bit less final.

I take your point on Michael's mugshot, though it is nice to see him smiling from time to time smile

Mmm, fern green! biggrin

Tony, who bought it? The guy who was enquiring after a manual the other week, or traded it a dealer?
