DB9 Windsreen wipers

The windscreen wipers on my DB9 sound very'clunky '. The noise is extremely intrusive.
Is this normal ? Is there a fix ?

You could try treating the glass with something like G-techniq G1/G2/G4. http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-cars/exterior-coat...

The treatment comes in a kit of three bottles. I’ve had all the glass done on my DB9, the difference is very noticeable.

A much smoother wipe and at speed, most of the rain just beads away.

The glass feels very much smoother to the touch after the treatment. It could help.

My wipers used to clunk as they changed direction, unless it was p*ssing with rain. After several thorough cleanings with CIF PROFESSIONAL Glass & Multi Surface Cleaner the windscreen has become more slippery and the (virtually new) wipers no longer make an annoying clunk.

I rinse my cars with StjärnaGloss Gläsparla Hyper Beader which is a fantastic product. One of it's side effects is leaving the glass hydrophobic and lubricated. I don't even need to use my wipers in the rain above 60mph.
