I thought you were going to come to Oulton today?! Conditions were pretty terrible to be honest, slight rain and very greasy. Someone dropped oil in the middle of Foulstones, and then someone had to be airlifted out from a crash at Druids because of wet leaves on the track. What a f
king buzz though!! Makes every car I've ever been in feel slow and dull!

There were some seriously quick people out there! Did you see the naked Kawasaki in the advanced group? He was flying! One of my mates was in advanced on the tatty black Gixxer 750 (the one with duct tape all over it!) and said he couldn't keep up with him!Yep I saw the kwaka.....
Seemed to me that the inters, and novice were a bit mixed up.... There were some guys in, intas that were easily quick enough for the fast group, and there were some that really needed to be with the beginners....
It's far better when each group isn't compromised, by having really quick guys, flying around, at the same time as novices..
Far safer too.....
But fair doo's to anyone going around there on a day like today..... It's a bit of a lottery

My instructor said the exact same thing about the inters. I didn't envy him either, he was on the black S1000RR, semi slick tyres (didn't bring wets), and his bike was pushing over 200 bhp
