Wonder where it was hiding yesterday when I was there. Knew you had been there the day before and was keeping a good look out for it. I would have noticed it because it looks fantastic.
They were using it for demo drives wink

That must be it then. Was already wondering about the flies on the bonnet...

surprised on the build sheet it refers to it as 12.5MY, not 13MY ?

heard my jan order is scheduled for dec build

both add credence to the idea that production is being rushed through to make way for a new/refresh vantage, early in 2013, whether just specifically the V12 or the range in general

That is interesting because it has MY13 upgrades including auto lights and wipers!
Surly the new Vanquish engine would go into any V12V update with the increased bhp. Can see there being a new Vantage with three engine sizes possibly a V6 and 5L V8 and 6L V12. The latter may just be dropped though as current model is only selling about 250 units a year. Saying that though the limited edition V12R is quite specific on some correspondence that its limited production only for the current VH platform which would imply a new one will be introduced.

What a fantastic car! Any photos of the front with the bonnet down? I'd like to see the carbon fiber vents against the blue paint.

Fabulous. Congratulations.

I'm only sorry it's going to Holland because we won't be seeing it in the UK.

We could use a few more of them to brighten up the roads over here!

Very cool that Aston was happy to let you get involved to such an extent. Absolutely as it should be for this sort of car and that sort of money.

Porsche, for example, have the temerity to charge for factory collection. I very much hope Aston's hospitality was on the house.

No, no pics of the car with a closed bonnet yet.
I hope to receive more pics of the finished car this week.

Other than the colour it looks a lot like Neils (F1NDW) Vanquish (1)

Forgive my ignorance but I'm obviously missing something here, or have I had a sense of humour bypass ?

Other than the colour and the fact it's a different model, it looks like another car ?!? So basically it looks like another car insofar as it's another Aston Martin.............

Neil has a Vanquish... the joke is that the bonnet is up in the pictures, reflecting the perceived unreliability of the Vanquish. You 'had to be there' I expect smile

Now that Neil has realised the gearbox isn't under the bonnet, he doesn't need to raise it any more wink
