As the topic of second cars has popped up (and people having crappy/cheap ones !), I'll start with mine:

2003 1.2 Clio (which must be worth about 50p judging by what a small, local dealer, has a couple of his forecourt for !)

I use my daughters cast off - a 2000 Renault Clio 1.2, but it really makes me appreciate the Aston smile

Polo GTI. Thinking of changing it next year to an SLK55 AMG though.

Very similar to me smile

Using my wife's battered cast off 2002 Peugeot 307 1.6 and definitely makes me appreciate the Aston on the weekends!

Either my wife's Honda CR-V or my personal favourite is our 1994 Fiat Punto SX60. A fine car.

04 1.6 Golf that will probably get swapped for a GTi this weekend, and an old Fireblade for trackdays.

Beth has a shagged old Y reg 3 cylinder Corsa, its done 125,000 miles and keeps on going, I need to put a new rocker gasket on it as it stinks atm. Its a shed but with a lab retriever in tow, the size of a horse, its perfect. Think we're going to upgrade it to a 116d BMW purely for the claimed 60+ mpg and keep the Corsa as dog mobile.

Vantage is my second (or third) vehicle.

Range Rover is the daily scrub van then for the weekends it's a choice of 1098 Duke, Heritage Harley or the V8V. Oddly, engines are V8, V8, V2 and V2.

Wife has an SLK thingy if I want to stay in touch with my feminine side.

BMW 3335i coupe for the commute (great engine, tons of torque, but bit of a drink problem!), and a Porsche 993 Targa for the weekends that I am not using the Vantage.

Specialized Langster for going on the flat.
Trek 8500 for going up and down.

Living in London means I have no room for another car in my life frown (unless you're Lewis!)

But the old man runs a dealership network of various marques, so am lucky to have access to others smile

I have decided that having a second 'nice' car is just silly so the 911 is on its way out, it's only used when the Aston is away or... well, that's it! I always choose the Aston over it, not worth having the cash tied up in it.

She'll have a Discovery and I'll have an early S2000 for £3k each. We'll enjoy both of those smile

I wouldn't get one as a second nice car, just as a daily driver. I want a convertible as a daily, and a folding hard top makes sense. 350 isn't fast enough so the AMG is the perfect answer. I just need to make sure it can do 25mpg smile

Plus I'll have a Triumph Daytona arriving soon biggrin

My other car's a Caterham for those even more hooligan days.

Might have a serious commute coming my way though so am in danger of dipping into needing a third car territoryfrown
