Cabin space in DB9.

Now that the V8's been mentioned. What about it as a daily drive? I've got a budget of circa 50k and the road is a windy B route then through city jams. Don't want a stiff ride as surface a bit jolty. Have driven a Maserati GTS and liked that experience but my heart as in every breathing male says Aston!

Standard suspension isn't bad, avoid sports pack if you want to cruise about and possibly avois SportsShift if using in town. It's a lot smaller and more nimble than a GTS, much shorter wheelbase as a strict 2-seater.If you want an automatic for town with paddle override for the open road, and you want a plush ride; a DB9 might suit you better. And you get 12 cylinders and a warm feeling of success all-over

It's a little jib at the people on here ( you know who you are ) that constantly deride the Vantage V8 for having 4 too few cylinders. It's an open forum.
It does have 4 too few cylinders
And is derived from a rotten old fashioned Jag saloon car, compared to our Cosworth-engineered V12 masterpieces. Et cetera
Aston are a small company that pinch or at least borrow and modify other people's technology that they dont have the money to sort out themselves, just like all small independent car makers have to do. I have no issue with that, both engines are full of character and imbue the cars with decent performance and the best noises any car can make. Anything else is just having a laugh

... not like the Mondeo engines of the DB9
Who told you that? Don't believe all that Clarkson says.MacGee said:

Have used a V8VR as a daily drive for 2 1/2 years. Brilliant dual nature. Practical side clears road humps, easy 6th gear driving at 30mph, clutch not too heavy, but, when the road clears, transforms into a different car. Pure genius. V8V CG said:
