Ditto, they are tough as old boots and out of sight!

Yep - got one on my car too - completely invisible and takes all the scraps. It's made the clearance very slightly less (I notice it on a couple of ramps/bumps) but well worth it. When I get a respray I will definitely get this fitted straight away.

DB9's are big on the outside, small inside with useless back seats and don't look as pretty as a Vantage, and the Vantage has got a proper engine, not like the Mondeo engines of the DB9

...all the Vantage knockers,
I was going to say your posts have always been pretty decent up until this thread, and hoped it was just a temporary loss of form.

But… anyone who can coin the phrase ‘Vantage Knockers’ is a top man in my book… so ‘as you were’, and don’t take the ‘Knockers’ too seriously. biggrin

BTW don’t Audi own Ducati?

On topic: As for the perfect driving position in a DB9; you do find it eventually. If you drive both cars you’ll know instinctively which appeals.

Yes unfortunately they do! However my 996 is pre Audi, and from the days when Carl Foggerty ruled the world.
However the bike is up for sale, I have just replaced it with a Caterham, I don't think they are owned by a dodgy German company.
(At least I hope not )

I wouldn't call Audi dodgy. They bought Ducati because some very senior managers in Ingolstadt are keen bikers and it was one in the eye for BMW.
