George i really do think you will be getting a call fom the boys in blue. They are checking forums all the time looking for speeders. Big trouble for you now. Oh no a photo of the bike as well.!
I will look forward to telling them where to go, and to come back when they get some evidence.

Nothing to prove it was me who typed it, nothing to prove what the 120 was, nothing to prove where it was, nothing to prove if I was even telling the truth! There's so much stuff they can't prove smile

Best you watch it today then, as I'll be at D+D's drinking and will tell you the result.

My point Georgio, and probably Cockers' point too, was that if you'd been, as it were - fingered - already by a busybody/do-gooder or a plod that didn't catch you, you've just provided the corroboration.

It's typical isn't it OP ?

A nice drive out in a car has been ruined by fecking bikers overtaking and distracting !
You're obviously not driving quickly enough! On a really nice drive out you should overtake the bikers driving

yes I made great progress on Sunday... Never been down the A59 as fast! Passed so many cars - I actually broke my record for most cars passed in one go (8) smile

Moving cars (and overtaking them on the other side of the road - I.e. facing oncoming traffic before you suggest a motorway too!) wink

hehe.... I did that in the motorhome where the M1 joins the M25 on my way to Brands Hatch....

Loads of cars in the inside lane all crawling along.... I just thought they were queuing for the next slip road, so round the outside I went..... Lots of dirty looks and a hearse at the front.... Oh well... smile

It wasn't a funeral precession - just a line of cars being held up by a tungsten DB9 coupe scratchchin

Now, here's the thing, two weeks ago I bought a 22 year old Caterham, with a ford cross flow stage 3 1700, with, can you believe it...4..... Yes 4 cylinders, oh the humanity!.
Well at 7.30 am, I took this aberration of too few cylinders, for a drive in the frosty Kent and Sussex countryside, I have never ( repeat never for effect ) enjoyed a drive so much!!!! The noise, the smell, the twitches, the knowledge that no ECU is gonna help me out........it's not what our cars have got that make them fun to drive, it's what they ain't got that keeps you alert and alive!.
Love it.
thumbup Good for you, compliments a V8 Vantage very nicely smile

You'll have a blast in the summer months when the tarmac is a bit warmer so the tyres grip a bit better.

  • ssshhh* don't tell anyone but I think I prefer my Caterham than my Aston for fun to drive boxedin

Similar, but I'm guessing from the stickers that JohnFrancis' is a genuine Foggy Rep, which was a limited run of IIRC 250 bikes.
