Im dreading it im the 6th owner for when i want to move on in the spring.
BTW the dealer wasn't truthfull when asked about owners when the V5 came through it was a bit too late. frown
I managed to sell my really quickly, the new owner would have taken the number of owners up to 7, if you price it well it shouldn't cause any problems.

When I bought my car, one of the fixed criteria was no more than 2 previous owners......I wouldn't have even gone to view cars with more, as it wasn't what I wanted

I was told the following. It does seem logical, but you might need to be a dealer employee to know whether it is true.

If your pre-owned Aston Martin shows a first registration date as the last day of a month, it is likely that it was a dealer registered car, and not a customer order. Something to do with sales targets.

So, a two owner car might look attractive, but who knows who got their hands on it during a dealer registered period.

What was the saying, "There are known unknowns ........."

i am the 2nd owner on my 06 v8v, any more than 4 owners would put me off i think.

I love knowing the chap before me ordered it 2 years before launch, specced it at the factory and kept it 6 years, having every service done irrespective of milage! Mines been someone pride and joy from the moment it was made

Dealers have said to me these do change hands quite frequently. With the right car I don't really see it being an issue tbh.

^^ This

As I said, I was the 5th or 6th ower of my DB7. The dealer who sold me my Nine took great pleasure in telling me that I was only the second onwer of it but I really didn't care. It was the right spec, the history was great and the condition was perfect. Previous owners made no difference to me at all.

That is brilliant.

I am in the multiple owners category, although fortunately the car is perfect.
With it's dateless plate, could almost be mistaken for brand new.

I was recently in contact with the 3rd owner (through this forum). Clearly a considerate and careful enthusiast. After owning my car for just a few months (only about a year ago), he has changed twice to new Aston Martin's!

I dare not even think about doing that. She who must be obeyed, would go mad.
