Does anyone have a V8V price list (2005 or so) that says what the price of the car was, and also what all the various optional extras cost ?

I'm just curious as to what the total price for mine was.

Thanks.

I think this was 06.5MY, note the £695 for (pretty much compulsory)full leather trim instead of the launch spec seat/door centre fabric!!!

£1750 for that satnav unit is just plain wrong. They should be paying us each £1750 to make up for all the late meetings and wasted petrol over the years.

You'd think that most AM owners would be reasonably astute wouldn't you??

How they got duped into parting with the best part of £2k with the "you'll never sell it on without it" line from the sales people is still a mystery to mehehehehe

I wonder did a car ever leave the factory without the sat nav fitted; all the cars I have seen have it and any advert you look at always mentions it.

Indeed, never seen a car without it - and also never had an issue with it getting me where it needed to!

Operator error..? wink

Yup, I was shown one at my dealers about three years ago. They said it was the not one they had seen without it. Going with the "you'll never sell it without one "meme I didn't buy it.

That's all most helpful - thanks !

Of course, if an "option" is fitted to all cars, then it's not really an "option" I suppose.

I've never seen one without SatNav and never without 19" wheels.

And what exactly is a "bright grille" ? What do you get if you dont have it fitted ? A "dull" grille ?

Ah, another question : Are those prices with or without VAT ?

"Blue Tooth" is quite amusing, auto-correct gone haywire

Inflation has pushed the cost of umbrellas up a lot as well

Bright finish grille 8 bar type (on Model Year 2009 Vantage).
Shiny aluminium I think.

Bright finish grille 6 bar type.

Model year 2009 cars are seen with either 8 bar or 6 bar, so probably changed then, but more recent cars seem to have the 6 bar type.

I tried to find a .jpg of a standard grille, but without success. As you say they are dull, and I believe coated in grey plastic.

I see. I must say I can't really tell the difference between a bright grill and a normal one from those pictures. I suspect it's difficult to see the difference on a photo.
