Had a useful chat with Mike at Bamford Rose yesterday. It seems that they are well on with developing a twin induction system for the V8 Vantage. Apparently Aston Martin went some way to fitting it on the V8 S but tooling costs prohibited them doing so.
Mike explained that they needed a donor car to further develop and complete the project. We have to finalise a few details then my S is off to them for a few weeks.
The main problem will of course be my separation anxiety, though the prospect of another 25BHP being liberated will make it worthwhile. When it is fitted we should be looking at 480BHP , plus a further increase in torque .
The sheer professionalism of Bamford Rose is very confidence inspiring so to anyone contemplating upgrading their car give Mike or Adrian a call.
Will keep you posted as the development unfolds.

Well done Rob, that's some serious performance!

Separation won't be too bad at this time of year plus you've got Molly's new Polo to rag around wink

Rob what else has your car had done to it? Have BR already tinkered a bit with it?

Big Bad Molly is not getting her pocket rocket until March 1st. Her Golf has now gone because of the impending depreciation. It has been replaced by a 9 year old Suzuki Vitara which has its engine management light on. Very low mileage though! Cannot imagine why.

Tony your diagnosis is correct. My mechanic is sourcing one as I write this. Molly wants to stick some black tape over the offending light. That should fool the neighbour who is going to buy it off me in March.

Sod it then, I'll be 'working from home' that day. Weather looks OK, prepare to be amazed at the power and noise of the mighty 2.2 turbo!

As an Englishmen, rather than a Northerner...

9am breakfast (bacon in some form)
10-11am elevenses (coffee and bun)
12-1pm luncheon (something huge)
4pm afternoon tea (coffee and cake/bun)
7-8pm dinner (something huge)
10pm + kebab/chips (drink related)

I also reserve the right to eat between meals when hungry. Big bar of Galaxy for a pound for example cloud9

Recently saw a Transit Connect that had the hole from the circuit board - (red) led as most dash panels are now not removable bulb holders wink - up to the display filled with BLACK silicon to stop ABS light being on. Must have taken time to remove and dis-assemble clock head to do it - only needed a repair on a broken wheel sensor loom !! Took longer to trace why 'no lighty' than carry out repair to sensor. It was done by the supplying dealer (of ill repute) on the previous MoT - I wonder why our trade gets such bad press rolleyes

I know you like to eat every 15 minutes, so it must be difficult to come up with names for each sitting and rememeber which one was the last one smile
You likely to be around?
