Nice.. I licked the bonnet last time i was wandering around it. it tasted GREEEAAATTT
Very nice choice.
I was in JCT today looking around a couple of new Vanquish models they had in. One was sold and waiting collection..both made me want one sooooooo much. I just cannot stretch my pockets far enough yet.

Mark, congrats on your new purchase. I looked around this car in great detail when at the factory in July. #985 from memory. It looks stunning in the flesh so to speak and a brave choice.......but a fantastic car with that spec and you won't regret it.
The only issue is that it'll be a long winter as you'll crave using as much throttle as you dare and these temps don't lend themselves for that....roll on Spring!!

Could I borrow your set whilst you are residing at Her Majesty's Pleasure (assuming they can catch you!)
I don't mind 'hiring' them for a few J2O tokens
I keep changing names, so it confuses them . They do offer good cold grip, but they are not a good tyre for normal use IMO. The car moves around on them like they are made of jelly (I am probably over critical). They really do not offer the same stability as Corsas.I don't mind 'hiring' them for a few J2O tokens
Congrats, she sure is a stunner! I saw the car myself in the flesh in one of the JCT event evenings in October and took a couple of pics.
Its the prototype for the MY13 model year I believe but is actually MY11 spec with several MY13 spec bits added, so is a bit of a hybrid and something rather special and totally stunning. I must admit I would have a tough choice choosing between your car and mine if both were in the showroom side by side - which they almost were, in fact yours might have replace mine as in terms of stock.
Congrats again - its a stunner. Enjoy the day and enjoy the car even more!
Here are a couple of other pics (that I think show off Flame Orange better), I hope you dont mind.
(BTW - who is your salesman?)

Is that a Toro red Virage in the background? That's absolutely stunning, first one I've seen in that colour!
Nope - it was a volcano red new DB9! There was also a volcano red new vanquish that evening (which i have pics of too) - it was the Leeds Vanquish launch event. PM me if you want copies AdamV12V said:

I didn't realise the Flame Orange V12V was there so long that the new DB9 had been released! I remember Mikey K posting a picture of it ages ago.George29 said:

Yup, thats the car... It was also the car that was shown in the Gaydon reception area back when the V12VR prototype news was hot off the press. JCT600 bought it in - they certainly break the mould (excuse the pun George ) of dealers who are shy of contemporary and bold colours! That is a fantastic looking car and that colour is amazing. Jealous ain't the word but I always like people who are excited about a new car, too many just buy them because they can rather than because they "need" to. Enjoy it and keep the pics and details rolling in so that us commoners can experience it vicariously.
