As some of you may know I am a recent proud owner of a DB9,What I am lacking is a cigarette lighter/power outlet, for charging of mobile etc.
Am I correct in thinking that there should be one in the lidded compartment in the center console?
And what have other owners done to overcome this?
Many Thanks, Cowman1960

Mines under the flap that looks like an ashtray lid in the centre console. What do you have under there on yours?

I have two lighter type power outlets in my DB9, one in the centre console compartment and one on the outside. There are also a couple of USB ports in the centre console which work for charging Sat. Nav. and phones.

It may just be the spec. that I bought though.

You will have to obtain a new utility tray with a built in power socket. A ceramic ash container, which fits inside the tray, is available separately. The wiring is already in situ under the central console, but the parts are expensive.

Hello Cowman,

Why not go to any auto electrician and ask for multi power points in the glove box. They will run a direct feed from the battery to the glove box and have a set of 4 or more power sockets. Alternatively, you can have them screwed to the side of the central tunnel.

It's neat, it's guaranteed, and you gat a set of 4 or more power sockets.
