Sorry if this has been in another thread but the "google" search currently available is somewhat hit and miss....
Anyway, just wondering if anyone has had any probs with their aircon?
I've taken the V12V out this weekend for a drive on the old autobahn and it appears the aircon doesn't want to play...I've had no probs with this at all till now but really need to have it working what with all the heat from the engine and not really being able to open the windows....
I believe that some cars limit the amount of "energy" going to the aircon when driving hard - does anyone know if this is this the case with AM and if so, would it have any impact (Sport / no-Sport, etc.)?
Finally, does anyone know if the aircon system is covered by the AM warranty - from memory I think it is? - Blinking hope so...
Any help greatly appreciated

Hi David.
Had something similar last week on mine. I had been cleaning it and I think maybe the battery was slightly low and it seemed that the AC system completely shut down. I was unable to control the heat at all no matter where the temperature was set. After a short run - 30mins or so - I parked the car up for about 10 mins and low and behold all ok when I fired it back up. Seemed as though it needed a CTRL-ALT-DEL on the heating system. Never had it before or since. If there is a fault then AC is definitely covered on warranty..

Thanks guys,
Doesn't seem to have re-set itself in the last couple of days, but does appear to be a control issue (as opposed to mechanical) - no strange noises, etc. just nada - air still blowing, just warm...
I have taken out the premium gold plated super-duper cover all AM warranty - so everything bar the rusting kitchen sink (or paintwork) should be covered....time to book it in me thinks...
Only challenge may be to stop the AM guys in Berlin not taking it for various joy rides, etc. to see if its fixed, allegedly..
