2 quick answers because I hate typing on a mobile.

Limp mode thing. Was it limp mode or a MIL warning? I only ask because it might be an emissions warning or other. If its gone, then it's gone I suppose.
Oil on the V8V is dry sump so G forces have virtually no effect. Upside down will if course.

. Obviously the car went outside of some design parameter and the car was then switched into safe mode I guess. She looks stunning 
The Porker is fitted with PASM sports suspension, so by the sound of it you would probably benefit from looking at upgrading to sports set-up, maybe the A.M. Roadster Sport pack, or as some of the other guys have suggested ( before they leap on me again
) BR's adaptive set-up, depending on budget and requirement, test both.
Ultimately the V8 is a different car, even with sports suspension it doesn't give it's best being driven at 9/10th like the Porker, rather you need to tune into the flow and balance and enjoy a new but equally enjoyable driving experience. Enjoy.
