Will Purdey be a transplant donor to Pearl?
Mikey in answer to your question. What do you take me for? After all these months of extolling the virtues of Bamford Rose enhancements my idea was to take Pearl straight there , alas no . Mike wants 1000 miles on her bores first, just in case there are any warranty issues. Promise that will not take us very long. I have already told Bamford Mike to give me a couple of days, bearing in mind Paddy is doing his bit first followed by lashings of Venture Shield.

Thank you all so much for your support . I have had better fortnights!!

What a result! A shiny new V8S.Thanks again to BR for picking up Purdey and taking care of her, Simon Cook at Newport Pagnell, Matt Warner @ A&T Insurance, my broker. Most of all thanks to Hiscox Insurance. I cannot honestly recommend their services highly enough. Finally Rachel and Howard at H.R.Owen in Cheltenham.

So pleased for you both. A lovely looking car and fantastic that everything happened quickly and smoothly to get you back into a V8VS. Now you can both really enjoy Wales. Will the BR work be done in time for the trip?

My car is undergoing the Francis magic today and tomorrow and having the self healing Xpel Ultimate fitted tomorrow. Francis, TonyV12V and I had a demo of it healing today and it was astonishing. I'll report back when I get the car back, so if you can wait a day or two it may be something for you to consider as a shield option.

Enjoy your new p&j :-)

Good job on getting back in an Aston so soon, but I much preferred the look of Purdy paperbag

There is only one white hater, his name begins with a 'G', but some people think it begins with a "K", he struggles with saying nice things to people and he lives 15mins just up the road from Bradford! wink

I'm 1 hour from Bradford thank you. Shame it's not further, awful place.

I don't hate white either. It looks fine on a washing machine, a radiator, an iPod etc etc. A car though? Not for me.

Hi Andy, still not updated your name to match the car then?! Did I see elsewhere that you might be thinking of coming to
Shelsley Walsh this Sunday (Breakfast club meet)? Would be great to have a catch up. Would you like to meet here & go up with us?

Yes must get that done if only I knew how. Seem to just have a list of previous car designations as usernames on various forums. I will put some more effort into it, and get it sorted maarm.

Would love to see you both. Ok then, i'll pm you later to make some arrangements. She's not up yet, bit early, and must make sure she doesn't have a horsey do arranged. Don't think so though. I am going up to Cholmondely Sat as well.

Must say your car in white has slightly made me reconsider the GT3 RS thing. Keep working on me you never know.

Rob, I'm absolutely delighted for you especially, as I had severe doubts of you making it through the Welsh weekend mkII alive, what with being on the wagon and having 20 Astons to remind you of your loss. Now, put the red wine away and get off the garage floor, otherwise, you'll get flattened by your new steed! Molly, I knew you'd be fine.... drink ....can't wait to see it in the flesh, looks gorgeous. Don't listen to George, he just a miserable Northern Monkey.
