So what have you done with your Aston today?
Discussion
I installed an X-Pipe, deleting the secondary cats and had an ECU tune which collectively bumped the HP to 470.

Has the loud exhaust deafened you? You might not realise that you are shouting.http://www.fabspeed.com/aston-martin-v8-vantage-se...
The link to Fabspeed has another link to the video of the car.
Regarding the volume, I wouldn't say it is louder, rather its more refined, smoother with a little less burble on deceleration. The cat-delete, X pipe installation keeping the OEM Vantage S exhaust has that positive effect on the overall volume. After about 3,100 RPM it is several dcb's louder but its not too loud, or too obnoxious, and most importantly, it doesn't drone at all like my 2007 did with the 200 cell cats & Miltek exhaust.
The seat of the pants difference is pronounced like the difference between the 4.3 and the 4.7S which is a lot IMO.
Overall, I'm very very happy with the overall transformation and for those of you wanting a little more power, I strongly suggest Fabspeed's X-Pipe secondary cat replacement with ECU tune.
Note: Fabspeed did discount the x-pipe with installation as it was done in conjunction with the ECU tune. They dyno'd it for free as they wanted to post the results on their web site.

Where did you get the engine bay cover from? Is it carbon or wrapped? How much if you don't mind me asking
That panel came from Aston factory (Gaydon genuine carbon part) but not something they went into full production of. I got lucky! The cost is not easy to state as it was part of a deal. I use the term 'deal' loosely...
I have had one made for the DBS, David Appelby made it for us. I expect they could help for one for you, it would be a lot cheaper than a Q/Gaydon part.
