Great day at RAF Coningsby.

A pleasure to meet the guys that entertained us again in the skies over Burghley and so nice to hear how they like to support that particular event.

A wonderful day with so much going on but bugger those Typhoons are loud.

Yes, I got sun burn yet again but who's complaining as its a small price to pay for such a rare opportunity to be involved in such an special day.

Good to see the Lancaster back where it belongs, back in the skies over Lincolnshire…..clap

Driving to Poland's a bit far to get your car washed.

Got up washed the car (had to give up halfway through, due to dodgy back), and met up with Nijius Maximus and his good lady Mrs. Maximus in his Vanquish for a jaunt through the Kent countryside, looking at the potential for an Aston London (South meet) and a spot of lunch in Sevenoaks.
The Vanquish appeared quite menacing in my rear view mirror. Mrs. DaveV8V was quite taken by the big V12 and loved the quilted seats, so if I suddenly show up with one I now have witnesses to reminder her she said ‘YES’ biggrinbiggrin

Another great meet up Dave. Lovely meeting your other half as well. Beautiful weather for a drive around Sevenoaks. smile

Upgraded to a carbon fibre waterfall when having my slightly cracked piano black one replaced under warranty. I know George won't like it but that's half the point of posting anyway. Even if you don't much care for CF it is an improvement for me as the piano black just reflects too much for my liking.

I like that, a lot. My piano black is horrendous in the sunlight, I'd be interested to know what it costs to replace, as there is already a shed load of CF inside my DBS, so it wouldn't look out of place. Don't tell the wife though......

Hi Pete, Excellent choice of waterfall. Another advantage over the piano black is that this doesn't easily mark or scratch. I have had mine now for six months and it still looks perfect. The piano black showed every fine scratch no matter how careful I was.
