A very nice addition I must say. I would never have the courage nor the calm hands to glue it on in the perfect position. You only had one attempt to get it right or your console would have been fked, wouldn´t it?

I would really like one on the top of my 17MY intake manifold. Thank you again, AML, for cost cutting furiousshoot

Love it. Nice discreet addition to cars like mine that don't have a lot of marque branding on the inside.

Got her out of the garage/lockup, warmed her up, ran the A/C, deep cleaned the interior, applied leather balm (well worth it) everywhere and tucked her away again.
Reloaded the mousetraps with fresh peanut butter.

Continue the long wait until Spring!!!!!!driving

Started one for the first time since May, battery was a bit flat but finally fired up. Pancake flat tyre but came back with the electric compressor. Started the other and drove it for the first time since September, flooded one of the carbs so petrol everywhere till it evaporated. No sign of mice but I do keep a loaded trap in one, I use chocolate

I've just reparked my DB9 Volante in the back of my garage to make room for my Alfa Romeo Guilia Quatrofoglio which is being delivered tomorrow. At 190 MPH and 0-60 in less than four seconds it makes the Aston look decidedly humdrum.

I love Alfa’s but....

.....you’ve been on Pistonheads for 9 years, made very few posts in that time and seemingly never in the Aston Martin forum apart from the one above (designed to annoy).

If it looks and sounds like a troll....

pmsl....

I did see one test where it shut down five of its mere six cylinders, didn't seem fast to me.

Alfa is a lovely looking saloon, but I'd say a DB9 makes it look decidedly humdrum!

I'm a bit surprised that I've had no response to my request for info from QF owners re their cars suffering from water dripping through the bonnet grilles ( two ) onto the engine. This has resulted in failures of the alternator and or the ECU. A pal of mine who takes delivery of his new QF early next week was told about this by his supplying dealer, and I have read about it elsewhere. It seems to apply mainly to early cars, and for some reason left hand drive QF's in particular.
.
Oh dear

Can of worms but creams/balms may make the leather shiny (certainly did for the black seats in my BMW) so if you have a matte look leather like my Rapide definitely avoid.

Good info here: http://www.drleather.com/Files/Some-Leather-Educat...

I use Autoglym with no issues whatsoever - and that new car leather smell is great.

Certainly appears to dry in and does not leave a shine. I think the trick is to ensure the leather is clean to start with.

Ahem, don't quote Clarkson/Hammond etc,,,,, I bought an Alfa brand new and ran it for 12 years, then sold it to my mate and he's ran it since. I have to say without a shadow of doubt that it was/is THE best car we have EVER had! Always a pleasure to drive and NEVER let us (or him) down. Would I have another? Without question.
