So what have you done with your Aston today?
Discussion
Since collecting my car in August I have spent many months dealing with a few issues, some big some small, with the final niggle, a cabin buzz, sorted by JCT Leeds who did a fantastic job yesterday. I love the car and feel it had a hard first owner, so my tlc and perseverance has made it feel very special again. Driving home the car felt finally done, sorted, everything as it should be. Gave it a wash and everything was looking perfect.
This afternoon, whilst moving my GSA motorbike in readiness for the NC500 trip I managed to drop the bike on to the car so now have a front wing with significant damage in need of repair. Calls made, awaiting responses.
I feel jinxed, and a bit sick.

That’s horrible - but you will get it back as new again! Just remember, keep things in perspective - life could be a whole lot worse...

Will bite the bullet and go the cccharger route
Thanks for the kind words chaps, really is just what I need, much appreciated. I am off to see a very reputable repairer/restorer that is conveniently not far away first thing tomorrow to get a verdict. I have a friend staying over who is keen for a drive in the car which would otherwise not have happened, so clouds and silver linings.

Flippin heck Soofsayer, it never rains but it pours comes to mind. You must be gutted! Hope it's a case of it looks worse than it is (can't really tell from the photo). All the best and hopefully incident free motoring from now on.This afternoon, whilst moving my GSA motorbike in readiness for the NC500 trip I managed to drop the bike on to the car so now have a front wing with significant damage in need of repair. Red 10 in place ready for the London Motor Show this weekend. We’re supported by personnel from RAF Halton helping with fundraising for the RAF Benevolent Fund.
Great to see it and to meet you at the show yesterday. One of the most beautiful cars at the show - might have said the most beautiful if there hadn't been a stunning DB11 Volante nearby! Well done for the fantastic way you are using the car to help a good cause.Drove my DBS home with (left) foot in a protective boot after fracturing my ankle playing football this morning
Thankfully just a small fracture so hopefully the car won’t sit idle for too long...
(Humphrey- RED10 looking stunning and well done you for your continuing charitable work...)
