Not a great start
Was this one that had been listed on "the bay" looks nice well done and sorry about the issue. hopefully they'll do what they should and offer some goodwill too.Not a great start
As for what Ive done remote switch ordered on friday so when it lands ill be dropping off at dealer for it to be fitted and see how my prep is going. they said I'll be getting a new clutch for the SS so asked if I could have a twinplate. Also got a numberplate doc come through at new address so I better take that to them too.

Timeless sale so all covered esp as I had only had the car for 4 hours and driven 250 miles
Will ask them about the twin plate upgrade they now offer
250 miles in four hours!? Are you crazy?? It's not a Toyota, that's more mileage than some owners do in a year!Timeless sale so all covered esp as I had only had the car for 4 hours and driven 250 miles

Must say the emergency assistance was great in that I was at AM Brentwood in just over an hour of calling from J 27 of M25 and a taxi was waiting to take me home
The only let down was the replacement car offered was something called a Hyundai I800 which looked like a private ambulance!!! and returned today as it is st
Will be asking if a demonstrator is available tomorrow

I always say cars are made to driven and perform all the better for it
Totally agree! I’ve had mine 7 weeks, and have done almost 1500 miles in it. I think there’s a good chance that mine is the only Aston in the world that has over 100,000 miles on too!!!I always say cars are made to driven and perform all the better for it

Great to see it and to meet you at the show yesterday. One of the most beautiful cars at the show - might have said the most beautiful if there hadn't been a stunning DB11 Volante nearby! Well done for the fantastic way you are using the car to help a good cause. The generosity of the visitors during the 3 days has been overwhelming, on Friday & Saturday alone we managed to raise over £400 for the RAF Benevolent Fund! Thanks go to everyone who came to say hello & particularly to Garry & Russ from RAF Halton who were superb ‘Wingmen’!
Drove over from West Sussex to Filton, specifically for Aerospace Bristol.

Lovely to see G-BOAF in such good condition these days, great use of projectors to display content on the side of the forward fuselage and overlaying the intake & engine to give an idea of how airflow is controlled by flaps sitting in the intake - Great if you're a bit of a plane geek like myself!
Then down to Cheddar Gorge to make some noise and then finally photobombing a historic monument.

Such a beautiful airplane, a real shame when they retired them
As you say Rob, beautiful because form follows function. I was lucky enough to fly in her when my lovely wife bought me (and her) a surprise flight for my 40th birthday! To put the speed and achievement into perspective the captain noted that at that time the fastest fighter would only be able to climb to Concord's operating altitude of over 50,000' and tail her for about 30 seconds before having to return to base running out of fuel. "April 1985, Concorde flies supersonic. This is the only picture ever taken of Concorde flying at Mach2, 1,350 mph. It was taken from a Royal Air Force Tornado, which rendezvoused with Concorde briefly to the south of Ireland. Although the Tornado could match (and even exceed) Concorde's cruising speed it could only do so for a matter of minutes due to the enormous rate of fuel consumption. After racing to catch Concorde and struggling to keep up, the Tornado broke off the rendezvous after just four minutes, while Concorde cruised serenely on to JFK!"
I love this photo even more, the BA Landor livery really was the best.

Such a marvel, even by todays standards - Dad worked at BA early 80s through to early 00s and I had the chance to go aboard one in the hanger, he himself had 2 trips around the Bay of Biscay with other BA crew along with taking my mother to NYC on Valentines day in it... treat!

that's an amazing picture and tale behind it. A thing of utter beauty. A horizontal rocket."April 1985, Concorde flies supersonic.
