So what have you done with your Aston today?

Being a sociable chappy it is my inclination to wave, however as my waving is met by stony indifference I don't bother now.
It's just another sign of the lack of friendly human interaction that is prevalent in London nowadays.
Are you wearing any clothes when you wave? It's just another sign of the lack of friendly human interaction that is prevalent in London nowadays.
Your post is either a fundamental social critique of the deterioration in cultural mores in a modern metropolis or......
You need to wear more than a mankini when driving the Aston

Well it is very warm at the moment.Today my car got put back into its garage and up onto the ramp. The MOT runs out on Monday and derr-brain here completely forgot to get it booked in for its annual service and MOT in good time which has meant no slot being available at the dealership for a couple of weeks.
Might take the opportunity to have the wheels refurbed while it's waiting in the darkened room
//Whispers// and the a/c is so much better in the RRS, so fully clothed driving is possible.
First European jaunt in my first AM - 2007 4.3 Vantage - and it has been perfect. No problems, great on the Autoroute (with Sanef tag!) with GT ride and quiet; great in tunnels (not sure if wife amused or bored now) and fun in the Alps. And positive reaction from everybody.
Here we are outside Montreux with Lac Léman in the background...

Is waving at other Astons a 'thing', never really give it a thought, or had any wave at me for that mater (while actually in the Aston )
I have only seen 1 other Rapide on the road in over 4 years of owning one (other than at events and jollys). Yesterday I pulled alongside No2 Rapide 'in the wild' at some traffic lights. It was about a lot more natter than a wave I can tell you! Aston owners outside the M25 definitely wave I'm also giving his daughter away at her wedding and we are soon going on holiday together Cold said:

May I also mention that you can take the car anywhere for an MOT. Dealer servicing is a different matter but so long as you avoid greasy spoon garages an MOT is fairly universal.
Collected my Rapide from its annual service at HWM.
Fantastic service as always; picked up from the train station in a DB11 Volante, my car gleaming inside and out on arrival, minor niggles sorted as part of service price, chat with my sales guy about potential next purchase(s) and off into the sunset.

Indeed, and sometimes the dealer might even do that for you, to earn £30 on every test.
I don't know whether it is still the same now, but I had an MoT done by a main dealer, only to discover that the test was done by a different garage. I was later told by that other garage, that the AM dealer no longer used them, but went elsewhere, so that they could save a further £5 on every test. Think they mentioned £23.
We too can play that game, so I now use a very smart, small family run garage (£29-99 and free coffee, but not in porcelain).
Every time a pass.
