Rich hi. Power is there now in spades, so no more to do there. Might go for a brake servo. Stephen Archer thought they were "strong enough" but I'll see. There are a few minor tweaks that'll improve drive comfort, like some padding on the drivers side space frame, otherwise its job done Rich.

One thing you might be able to help me with, the brake lights, they're not illuminating until considerable pedal pressure is applied. Andrew has changed the brake fluid pressure switch for a motorcycle type but if anything they're worse. confused

I was only joking Bob but i get the feeling that like a work of art, you will never want to call it finished wink

As for the brake lights, it may be worth fitting a simple micro-switch somewhere on the brake pedal arm, that way you now it will come on once you depress the pedal. scratchchin

What? New Vanquish S Ultimate in Xenon Grey.
Why? Slightly long and very dull (for me) story but it led to the dealer and the Factory stepping up and making me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Photos? Well, if you insist.

Well done, beautiful car. A keeper this one. Looks so much nicer than the just released DBS Superleggera.

I still wish I'd kept my DBS V12. This one is a bit special. amongst the very last of the naturally aspirated V12 Astons. The last of the Aston V12s. One of 175 cars. Etc.

It's great to drive and feels (to me) more special inside than the current range.

But I do like the new DBS Superleggera. I might consider a DBS Volante when it's released (I really wanted to replace my Volante with an S Volante but was limited to what was around).

I think you're right, I'll not be happy unless I'm chasing after the next 'improvement' The micro switch I have asked about, so perhaps that will be the solution, thanks Rich.

Ed, good to see you're still lurking. thumbup

Not me, I’m afraid.

Sadly (for me), they all say 1 of 175. Much as I’d like mine to have that accolade it’s an unlikely occurrence.

Hi edouardo, you gorgus hunk of a man !!

Tony Hall is only ever photographed with models round him these days. He uses the moniker Tony Clooney yes

In all seriousness Bob, you truly are a diamond geezer and I think this is a project that many people would be rightly proud of. Well done you smile

Was it at Cheltenham today, saw it whilst browsing as they were putting the cloth on. Lovely car and great colour combo.

It does seem to be a shame, but the sill plaques of various (possibly all) recent Limited Editions, have stated '1 of xyz'.

The only reason that I have heard, is that there was too much awkwardness, about customers wanting particular numbers.
I wonder if it might be possible using chassis numbers, to find out the production sequence and then have your own numbered sill plates made?

A beautiful car AstonZagato, great choice.

Thank you.

I will probably ask the AMHT Registrar if he can work out where it falls. It is a late one (arrived on slave wheels as the factory had run out of Ultimate ones).
