So what have you done with your Aston today?

MOT'ed the old gal. Straight through with no advisories. Happy days.
Likewise. Picked it up from the dealership after its clean MOT and 11th year service. No red flags of nasty things or predictions of imminent doom which seems to be the norm for my old shed. Shame about the hideous downpour during the journey but I can always wash it again tomorrow.
Stopped on the way back to take a quick snap:
Went to AM Bristol. Handed back my wonderful 2014 Vantage after 16 months of ownership.
Collecting the 2016 V8 Vantage S soon
Thanks to all who gave sage advice on the V8 vs V12 Vantage question I posted a short while ago. The common consensus was that once you try a V12, you can't go back. Obviously I'm weird, but I tried it and have to admit the V8 still is the one for me at the moment. Just love the de-cat'd burble, steering feel, general usability in all weathers, etc.
Unfortunately, my left shoulder isn't man enough. This is the reason I had to swap things over from manual to Sportshift II. I never previously considered anything but manuals (which is why I had to opt for a Vantage... the previous gen DBS never quite doing it for me). Now, after the test drive in the Sportshift V8S, I think I may have been a muppet not even considering it... more on that after I get some miles under the wheels.
AM Bristol are now getting the car prepped with the de-cat changeover from black to red Vantage as well as some minor cosmetic touch up. Oh... and (ducking for cover) getting those two tone wheels in a proper single colour (graphite grey).
Can't wait!!!
PS - the 2014 black V8 Vantage was an amazing car and brought me joy with every journey. I hope it's going to find a good home... it deserves it. Just ask for George at AM Bristol [disclaimer: this advert brings me no benefit LOL!]

There’s a photo of mine , not the best admittedly But I’ll throw my hat in the ring , you’ve made the right choice.
Nice! Thanks - and it saved me throwing open Photoshop to double check it was the right move! But I realise it’s all very personal.White wheels on an AM, anybody?
