Yesterday rather than today, but went for a drive the other side of the bridge into Wales, to record some YouTube content, and just for the fun of it. Just over 2k miles in 2 months, she's getting some use.

I had a dodge up yesterday after the football but I got there a bit too late as most of the private cars had left by then so missed the chance of coming over for a chat , had a quick sit in the DBS though , now that’s a nice bit of kit.

Links when live, Jon! Don’t squander those memorable miles without a shot at YT stardom wink

Finally managed to get out for a drive tonight, took my youngest daughter too; she's the same age as the car!

To become a YT millionaire, one must already be a billionaire... rofl
It should be live at 12:00pm, I'll throw up a link later on thumbup

I only really started the channel to upload race car content that was easier to show on video than type about in the build thread.

Vanquish stuff...

Lord knows what's going on with YouTube's uploader today - pin sharp stuff goes in, a hazy, choppy mess comes out (might just be my internet connection!) scratchchin

Beautiful weather again at the weekend so roof down and went to visit my son and heavily pregnant daughter in law to help him put on another 40 pint batch of home brew and a chance for the missus to talk baby stuff. This really has been the summer for a roadster!

Very happy to have helped. Looks like you got a great result. Has anyone done a guide on tackling the wipers?

Took the vanquish volante over Timmelsjochstraße into Italy. Hot. Sunny and pretty. Further down slow traffic with lots of campers and Fiat Pandas.
Return journey in 2 days time.

This definitely won't be everyone's taste (and it isn't mine, honestly). The plan for our red project car was to build it to be completely different than my grey one. Bling wheels was part of that, and they definitely set the two cars apart. I'll be adjusting the coilovers for a slightly lower ride height, and putting on new 2-piece brake rotors this week.

Think I have found a keeper! Not the car but potential new mrs after the last 2 car haters.

First weekend away and she wanted to go camping so armed with the worlds smallest tent (I brought it at school some 20 years ago) the Aston boot was packed and we went off for our first weekend.

After getting back to the tent she actually enjoyed listening to the car for a few minutes ticking whilst it cooled outside the tent!

A bit sad I know!
