So what have you done with your Aston today?

Cracking picture, car looks very handsome, but no plate?
Looks like it's been photoshopped out. I would hope that running without a front plate is below an Aston Martin owner. Yes photoshopped out. I hate blurring the numbers on the plate so thought I would remove. As you can see I am an amateur at photoshop but it was good enough

As ive been away for 8 days, I got home removed the indoor cover... put ice back in (via the isolator) then did a clutch learn.
While there i fitted some LED festoon lights into the boot only problem is now the boot lights have stopped coming on? any ideas??
Oh and applied new key ring

LED's are pole sensitive so turn them round and they should work

Trip to Aston Works to get my V8VS MOT'd. This was the view I had. A Vanquish Volante Zagato & a DB4 GT Continuation

Sorry, going to be a pedant again. What you’ve spotted there is a much rarer Vanquish Zagato Speedster (1 of 28) rather than a Zagato Volante (would have been 1 of 99) Exactly the CF humps on the back (also I cheated, I did a tour a week or so ago so knew it was there!).
Interestingly that car has a fairly unusual gold waterfall. There’s a matching Zagato Coupe in the back of the workshop with the same waterfall - guessing they might both be owned by one luck owner
And the DB4 GTs are amazing. I’d have one in a heartbeat if I won the lottery!
My question is what will Works produce next? They won’t tell me but my bet is on a DB4 Zagato Continuation....

I'am with you on that. On a previous visit to Works I had a good look round the DB4 GT Continuation. What a car. Mega bucks for a car thats not road legal. Bet their owners have great fun taking them round the world's race & track circuits .
Did a bit of work on my red V8V project car...
Swapped out the OEM brake rotors for 2-piece units and the handbrake pads for R4-S handbrake pads (I have these specially made, including chamfering to prevent that annoying low-speed chirp that the OEM pads sometimes have). Also lowered the ride height a touch on the coilovers I developed with BC Racing, and stiffened up the compression and rebound on them as well.

Made the run across to the lads at Aston Installations (Very boring drive using B roads being a trail of lorries). I had the OEM Volvo nav swapped out with the Garmin system and also went for the reverse camera.
Got home and did tweaking of the guidance lines and all good. Must say the chaps at Aston Installations were a pleasure to have work on the car. A great pair and very nice place they had. Made me feel very welcome and all looks as car should have left factory. Great work guys
I've also decided I think I'll be going for the velocity lowering/stiffening springs to sure things up a bit and the Bamford Rose N400 update.

- Oh yeah and while I was at AI I decided to remove 4 of the slats from the front grille
