picked up a puncture last night, waited three hours for the AA but really good service once they eventually arrived. Has anybody used the compressor and canister to reinflate a tyre and mine didn't work even though it was newly purchased

I tried it several years ago in an Alfa GT but it didn't work, at least in part because the damage was a small cut caused by a small scrap of metal which I probably mistakenly pulled out of the tyre. The problems then really began (on a Bank Holiday Monday) as I realised the presence of a compressor & canister in the car meant I had no jack or wheel brace. This was compounded as I looked up (whilst swearing) to see the last Fiat group car leave the car park. Eventually got the wheel off and raced with it to a Quickfit just before it closed to get a new tyre so I could transport the whole family the 150 miles home. I know it's just not feasible in something like a Vantage but not having a spare wheel can be a right PITA.

I can now see why the canister didn't work, might try again if I get a puncture, this is what happens when you have to move a car out of a dangerous location with a puncture frown never mind all sorted now, but a few £££s lighter

Indeed Mark. Vesuvius was my declared "keeper", I never imagined another Aston Martin would ever trump her appeal,,,,, I was wrong. The new DBS Superleggera with its stunning looks and other worldly power was in itself a very close call. So that almost from the moment when Simon emailed a preview teaser of the DBS 59, my resistance collapsed, it was game, set and match.

Two years ago today I was ripping across the southwest on the way to New England from Utah. Blast of a drive and no regrets.
Today I just went out to the garage and looked her over...

A stunning car Bob, always admired it in that colour, but i'm sure the new one will take up the slack... You lucky fellow!

I was at the dealership yesterday while my winters were being fitted. I worked my way down the new car line, first examining exterior then sitting inside, an all black DB11 V12 AMR (black is not usually my choice for a car but is the best spec for the DB11 IMO), new Vantage, DBSS, and ultramarine Vanquish.

It's amazing that the big old Vanquish looks and feels the smallest and sportiest. What was also interesting was that sitting in each one was a noticeably different experience from car to car, unlike when you could sit in a Vantage, Vanquish, DB9 or Rapide and they all felt much the same.

Blessed with a lottery win I am not sure which I would drive away in! The DBSS is visually and on paper the most theatrical and impressive, the DB11 a stunner and probably the most practical and usable, the Vanquish pulls at the heart strings the most, and why not it's awesome, and the Vantage screams take me away and abuse me.
Four car garage anyone?
