Went to Caffeine and Machine yesterday. Been meaning to go for a while now.
What a wonderful place run by great people. Highly recommend it.

While I was there this stunning blue F40 turned up (not totally off topic as my V8V is in the background).

Slightly OT but I suspect that may be the same F40 that was recently driven by Mister JWW.

Went for a little 5 mile drive from Eastbourne to Hailsham in my 9, then decided to go via Pevensey bay to get some petrol then on to Eastbourne Seafront then decided to go a little further Beach head, Seaford, Newhaven, Teslcombe - oh look Brighton !

Saw another AM (vantage i think) near seven sisters - wonder if you are on here?

Guy on a lambretta was staring at me - guess he was wishing he had an Aston which is weird because i was wishing i had a Lambretta !

Wasn't me but I'm also in Sussex. I'm occasionally blatting around those roads in either the Aston or the Atom. I'm hoping to do a little breakfast meet this spring - be good to meet you in person.

Chris.

Not today but on Friday I took the wife to Whitby in the db9 for a walk along the headland and have lunch for our weekly ‘date’ (yeah rock n roll, living the dream etc), kids at school so we usually get a bit of ‘us’ time on Fridays during term time. It was a good drive out and back, dispatching everything we came across, except an RS6 avant desperate to get past, so I let him. He subsequently turned off less than a mile later, fking tool, but to be expected.

Today I did a minor leather repair on the leather just above the glovebox where the previous owner had managed to scuff it on the leading edge. Used some ‘leather doctor’ kit off amazon and it did the trick.

I'm from Telscombe and often drive in that area - might have been me?

I took mine out to Eastbourne and Beachy head at the weekend. Roads were a bit slippery, which made the twisty bits even more fun.

Gentlemen thank you for your kind words, I'm so pleased that you enjoy seeing her, as I do. For the curious, this is what resides under that long bonnet, 4.7 ltr DB4GT head, n/asp, points ignition. Yes, on start up she pops and bangs quite a bit but OMG, with an all up weight of circa 980kgs, 320bhp and 350 ft/lbs of torque, she just flies!
