That is a thing of beauty, under the bonnet, and as a whole, You are a lucky man.

Fantastic. I`d love to see and hear that!
lovely.

Just noticed - does the new vantage thing behind the front wheel mimic/reflect the cut away in the above car?

Sounds like you've had the exact same problem I had on my V8VS SP10 some 18 months back. I heard a knocking sound when I was just a couple of miles from home, and I called AM Assist as soon as I got home. They were with me within an hour, and his initial thoughts didn't sound particularly optimistic. Off it went to AM Wilmslow whereupon after some back and forth with Gaydon, it was diagnosed as a 'catastrophic big end failure. Fortunately it was still under warranty and a new engine was fitted. If I recall, I was without the car for about 3 weeks.
How much is an engine rebuild if no warranty?

Collected my Vantage S roadster from AM Reading after it's annual service, they found a few things, condensation in rear lamp and headlamps, boot struts weak but all covered by warranty, they also mended the glove box damping without being asked or charging for it

Excellent service all round especially from Dan thumbup

Running a day late on this... Yesterday I took for a lovely 160mile round trip to Shakespeare territory. Really satisfied to the extent I have no urge to do anything else to it (other than twinplate clutch when current one expires).

Slightly off topic perhaps but I bought a companion to share the stable with the V8V and went for a glorious drive in the countryside driving

I treated my PPF on the bonnet to some PPF friendly Ceramic Coating.

Had a nice spin out to caffeine and machine in the DBS
Great day , apart from one major issue, and two smaller ones
Whilst getting car out of garage at 7am, I caught the front wing , and the Aston badge fell off the back , and a bird hit my grill and broke it.
I feel this all may be due to the lack of use and the old girl is feeling left out and is trying to get her own back in me

I suspect that's going to result in an excellent induction note and a marginal increase in fuel consumption biggrin

They're actually Jenvey Throttle bodies disguised as webers so it should run clean and super efficient. Lots done the the engine, 2.6 lightened, balanced, forged rods pistons etc etc

I took a walk around my new neighbourhood last week and noticed one of my neighbours has this on their drive. Pretty thing.

After much looking, I bought a DB9 this week.
Drove into London early this morning for work and took this as I left her!
