So what have you done with your Aston today?

Thanks. It’s too good to drive to be an ornament.
Was a pleasure following you for chunks of the tour (we were in the Clio Trophy), beautiful car and great to see it being used. Can you share some more details/history of the car? As an armchair enthusiast I'd like to think I know a fair bit about modern Astons, but to be honest I didn't even realise what brand your car was until seeing it parked up at the end of the day (perhaps an embarrassing thing to admit in an AM thread!).

You were having fun in the Clio. Sorry if we held you up. I was pushing it hard but the brakes limit what speed you can carry through a corner. Can you share some more details/history of the car? There are still a fair number of earlier Aston’s about si you should read up if interested. Ours was one of the Olympia Show cars in 1935. It has an Aston 1.5 litre, dry sump, overhead cam engine and Aston 4 speed crash gearbox. Peddles in different sequence (middle accelerator) and back to front gear shift. Message me if you want to know more.

Very Nice! Do you have a list of parts needed for this?
Depends what vehicle you have, you may or may not need a new Sub.The Vantage uses the same wiring loom for standard and premium, hence why all the wiring is already in place. Looking at part manuals for V8, there is a standard sub 6G33-18808-HC, and premium sub 6G33-18808-GC for non B&O. On V12 and V12 S there is only the premium sub for standard and premium 9G33-18808-GA.

As an option in 2015 it was a £1495 option.
To buy all the parts only, retail today would cost £1636.87 plus a bit of dealer/specialist time to update the car config in AMDS.

Sorry to hear that Liam, hope you got good money.
When you take into consideration the margin a big dealer group needs in a car, I suppose I did ok.I loved the car itself but the ownership experience was terrible; for example my headlights haven’t worked properly since November. Living nearly 300 miles from the nearest dealer hasn’t helped either.
To be fair though, Edinburgh have been great to deal with and I’d recommend them.
