Went to Como, at the Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa d'Este, amazing experience! A selection of the many pictures I took.

Me being fancy with some completely useless but period correct driving gloves! biggrin

959, Vantage, Miura, Mistral: those were all celebrities-owned cars. Italian singers for all but the Vantage, who was Elton John's.

Here she is again.

Shooting Brake Zagato who was sold at auction.

DB4 GT Zagato

Incredible Ferrari 512 Modulo, I met James Glickenhaus, the owner!

My GF (the one who wants to use the Vantage emergency key as a pendant! biggrin) with the villa behind her.

The villa in all of its glory and if you zoom in...

...you can see the star of the show, the concept Bugatti made for La Voiture Noire.

A truly incredible machine.

I did not know you had to wear fingerless gloves when having your period.

This DBS 59 (pre ppf) after 3 days of Francis at his very best, has now been detailed to within an inch of its life. Let not a spec of dust settle on it before the film is applied. nerd

Talented lady - balancing that urn on top of her head!

So much nicer than the Chiron

1 of 1. Allegedly built for Ferdinand Piech himself

New replacement windscreen fitted by autoglass in York this morning. Despite the trepidation so far so good. Took them 3.5 hours to do the job, very professional and courteous approach,

Works Service advised me to wait 48 hours before driving the car after a windscreen replacement, if possible. Allows the glue to cure with the windscreen under no stress.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I was told not to wash it etc for 48 hours by the chaps on site, but agree with your comment as it felt right to let everything settle/cure, so took the drive home (only a few miles) at a very pedestrian pace and am leaving the car in the garage until Friday.

Ahah classy AF!

Anyway, me again. Today I finally placed my new license plates, black instead of blue sides, UK fonts and 06 département, Provence Alpes and Côte d'Azur instead of 14, Normandie.
