Well after a week of excited ownership I thought it was time to get a few pictures of my new pride & joy :-)

Thanks for the appreciation folks.
M5MarkM - it's outside a chemical factory on an industrial estate where I live in Suffolk. I've spotted a few other areas that might work well too.
Mr.Tremlini - yes, it's Meteorite. You're right about the subdued lighting, this was taken last night about 40 minutes before sunset. I should also say that the images you've shared of your beautiful V8V have inspired me to have a go too! :-)

Wire from alternator came loose so it lost all charge
Apparently it was not connected properly due to it being cross threaded
Took the rescue man 2 hrs to re thread the connector.
Not very good for a 6 month old Car
That’s about the 5th fault I’ve had , but the first time it’s actually let me down .
The passion for the car is starting to diminish somewhat now . Not sure if I can forgive it much longer

Sorry to hear about your issues, mine until today has been mechanically faultless.Apparently it was not connected properly due to it being cross threaded

Today the gearbox is unhappy. Red triangle saying AM shift service. I was aware something wasn't right as the display said 4th when in either 4th or 6th! Also changing from 3rd to 4th it flashed up a disconcerting 2nd. Also pulling away on a rolling start in 2nd - normally fine, it was gutless and about to stall. Seems better after switching it on and off and I'm back at home, but it needs plugging in to try and figure out what was going on.
Hope you can get a clear run, it's awful if you lose confidence in a car.
I also had that message coming up as well with the sportshift
Going to take it to dealers to get the wiring checked on the alternator and also get them to look at the sportshift .
When the sportshift warning light came on , sportshift disengaged and it would not come back on even after turning Car off and in again .
Eventually could use it after about an hr of it being off .
Don’t feel I can use it at the moment until checked as I am not sure it wouldn’t break down again ! Pity , it’s a lovely day for a drive

Annual North East Concours, held this year at the Troutbeck Inn, Amenia NY. Around 50 or so Astons. Not the 400 you chaps get, but a huge gathering for here nevertheless.
50 is a good number! Must have been a good day DB9VolanteDriver said:
