Which route did you take, please ?
Here are our daily routes, we had a day in Santander at the end and ferry Portsmouth/Santander both ways.

First trip to that part of Spain and in hindsight might do more around the Picos mountains as the best roads.

We've done a few Pyrenees trips before and have routes for those if you'd like them as well email me and I'll see if I can dig them out. Pyrenees still rate as our best Euro trips.

upgraded anti roll bars from standard v8 vantage spec to gt8 sized fronts and V8s rears with new bushes and drop links and some geo tweeks, very pleased with the result. Reduced body roll, much more confidence in the car and the geo changes have nicely balanced the car under braking. Gave it a full corner weight and spanner check whilst I was at it.
Nice!

Can you give me some details on the part numbers and also the Geo Setup as looking to make some improvements to my Bilstein Sports Pack & Velocity Spring setup wink Its already great, but always room for tweeks and improvement smile

Thanks

Fitted the excellent stereo and sat nav alloy knobs sold by a forum member, 2 minute job and really lifts the look of the panel.

Poor image, flash went off as I didnt bother taking the indoor cover all the way off, so it was a bit dark in there!!

Hold the fort - so a forum member is buying up the generic silver knobs that are readily available online and selling them as a "Vantage" upgrade pack?! Genius.

Oh no....the forum member is the esteemed Tony Hall that provides, for the discerning AM owner, a superior knob or sill plaque.

Drove my V8V for the first time in 6 months (health issues) - only a 20 mile test trip but absolutely bl**dy fantastic and put the smile back on my face - no error messages, no untoward noises, just brilliant - what a car smile

Well done Dave!

The silver silver button update is very nice (had that ordered and put on car prior to its recent delivery)

Was in garage today smiling at her but taking off charge (C-TEK xs5 recon mode) as I'll be cruising her through London over the weekend wink

More to the point of today I got the "Clutch Learn" in today ready for an early start tomorrow, when she'll need a full tank of something.

edited to add I did NOT put the pic in like that!! ffs

Had it recovered by AM Assist after "Gear Box failure" message outside Buckingham palace. Took a few mins to get it started again in limp home mode. Let me tell you now, you get A LOT of attention when trying to start your engine and get a gear selected outside the palace!

So far after 1500 miles, two airbag system failures, replaced door seal, replaced the windscreen wiper control and a gear box issue.

AM Build not great. Service from Dealer has been excellent.

Josh

Not good Josh.
You are quite philosophical about it.
I'd be asking the dealer to go through the car with a tooth comb or just chop it in.
Having continual problems takes the pleasure out of ownership.

Hi,

the dealer is going to do exactly that. RE my attitude towards the issue, I will admit the failure today pushed my tolerance a little but this is my 5th Aston in 10 years and none have been error free and so far the DB9.2 holds the record for the worst issues (Complete electrical failure on the way home from the dealer with 20 miles on the clock). Also we have been living with a serious illness in the family for the last year and this has helped keep my perspective on what is really important.

The car will be fixed, it will come back and it will still feel special when I start the engine smile

You will, of course, be the best judge on the matter of your car and I hope it gets sorted.
I sincerely hope that the serious family illness gets resolved and that person regains their good health.
Best regards
Steven
