Anyone have any 'before' & 'after' photos? I'm thinking about removing as it looks a bit 'bulky'

I quite like my plinth, again some have a personal preference on these.

Lunablack in your after pictures, isn't the size of your number plate illegal??

It's not the size of the plate that's important, it's the size (and style) of the font that counts. The first one looks ok, the second one looks borderline dodgy.

I don't know if mine is a modified std plinth or just came this way, but it doesn't have the step in it. Quite like it though as it retains the plinth which I think looks nicer.
