I have the B&O with the DB9. Does anyone notice when I put the iPod on the passenger side is louder than the drivers? In fact the driver's side is very weak. When you put it on radio is comes through both fine.

Cool, Im pleased they work for you too. They were copied from a thread I posted when I spent some considerable time in my first V8V working through each setting for the optimum setup.

Interestingly there was another chap who posted some alternative (and very different) settings to mine, and a few people also reported that these too were a good improvment on the stock settings. I seem to remember his were geared up for optiumum listening in the drivers seats, whereas mine / FAQ settings are balanced for both driver and passenger.

Now if you are using mp3 files from a USB stick make sure you rip them at 320kbs. With the Premium system you really can tell the difference between 320kbs and less quality bit rates so its worthwhile and capacity on memory sticks is never going to be an issue anyway. After all mp3 is a compressed file format so its never going to be as good as CD, so best rip the the highest quality to minimise the losses.
