Only 3 V12 Manuals left now - 1 x 6spd and 2 x 7spd. Great to see these are all selling well.

Do you see a difference between the original R8 and the newer cars?

Thanks

Chris.

Hi Chris . I have really only noticed on here that a few PHers have just purchased the V10Plus model of around 2016.

What put me off them was the amount that are for sale.

OMG that’s my V12V!!!!!!!

I sold it last June with around 1200 less miles on it to a private buyer near Bristol. Never heard from him again although he said he was going to put lots of carbon on it.
Looks like he’s done the wing mirrors, side straiks, changed the front grille, roof looks wrapped and the door sills.

I’d love to but the funds have been used elsewhere now.
But if anyone wants more info on the please ask!
I still have 9 years of mileage logs on the car :-O

Have to say Mako - it's great to see someone else cares for their cars as much as I (and I'm sure others) do. It looks immaculate inside. It's great to see the pricing reflects this frankly. Fed up of seeing posts where mileage and age seem to be the only pricing considerations in some peoples eyes.

Thanks Chris. I owned the car for 90% of its life. I was fastidious and OTT looking after it. It looked as good as the day I collected it. Anyone looking at it thought it was 1 or 2 years old, not nearly 10. And as you say the pricing of the Mako car at AM Bristol does indeed reflect 9 years of fastidiousness!!

I feel a little sad Mako, that you cared for your car so well, but then you had to let it go.

I was lucky to find the exact spec. used Vantage (just V8) which I wanted. It was perfect and I too have looked after it. Having owned it now for 8 years, it has only seen rain a few times. It was bought to be a keeper, so now has no monetary value to me. Could not bear to part with it. Even though not used in the winter, these models still provide enjoyment just looking at them.

Hopefully you will have another AM in the future, if you want to.
