Id also take the vynil route on this one, that is, until my GF found out I wanted to make the grille black and for some reason she used her "veto" on this. Never knew she had one in the first place.... Im still baffled actually.
I think this may be a case where you need to MTFU. smile

Yeah, well she's quite a petrol head. So I take her opinion into serious consideration normally.
Last time we went go-karting I only beat her with 0,07 seconds. And I have done a couple of 2 hr races.... so she deserves to be listened to.

After she had a monologue why I should not take the black route with the grille, wich mentioned my etnicity and the fact that all too often that path is taken by "youngsters" like myself in trying to portray a more menacing persona than they in reality are, I was quite literally baffled into submission.

Now, does that mean I will listen? For now, yes.
Why? I have enough work to keep me busy. V12 sills are on their way, 200cell race cats were postponed to be installed and I need to install a crap-load of carbon parts.
Once all of that is done, ill give it a try and MTFU laughlaugh

In case anyone's interested this is what I did - I believe looks better than the original grille design

How did you do that? Looks like a recent Rapide?

It does remind me of the bigmouth Rapide S look, and I personally prefer the split look more typical Aston look grille. But, my friend, if you like that and go 'wow' when you see it and enjoyed your significant and unique efforts that is all that matters smile {Am hoping this was bodyshop not Photoshop mind wink}

I think I saw this "mouth-conversion"-kit advertised on ebay in the past.

The front number plate would mess up the intended look though.
