Evo does a highland hoon
Discussion
I've thought about the video a fair bit and it embodies a lot of what Aston Martin Means to me. Somehow I could never see an f-type or a Porsche in that video. It's as if the driving the Aston makes you enjoy the place you drive it, it's made for those roads and its happy to share equal billing with the landscape rather than want, maybe even need, to be centre of the attention or fixated by a lap time.

Depends when you leave on the Friday I think.
Thinking about 7AM?Great road and great car. I've been wanting to take the Aston up there since the scenes in Skyfall. I'm going to Edinburgh next month so might have to check out the Old Military Road, although sadly in a hire car rather than the Aston.
Not sure about the presenter though, his voice was putting me to sleep and he barely spent 2 minutes talking about the car and the rest of it was about how much he loved the road.

The presenter was Henry Catchpole, famed EVO journalist, and the series, I believe, is about favourite roads rather than the cars used on them. Henry is IMHO a very nice chap and Rob & I were fortunate enough to meet him & other EVO stalwarts, Richard Meaden & Jethro Bovingdon etc. 3 years ago on location in North Wales. We have some great photos of HC driving our Vantage S and some very fond memories of our car appearing in EVO in a group test. We were very lucky to spend a couple of days on location with them:http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Thanks for posting Jon, we are off to drive these same roads in Scotland later this month too and really looking forward to it

Evo have just done a piece on the 20 best Limited Edition cars.

The N430 is in there at Number 20. Whilst the previous N series were limited I didn't think the 430 was?

Indeed it is not. I am not sure about several of the others either. http://www.evo.co.uk/features/15715/the-20-greates...
