I'm enjoying this so far. Looks like they have bitten off more than is economically viable to repair unless they can sell it for way more than estimate though.

Agree. It's got me looking at values in the classifieds. Just need to other half to engage and get the bloke next door to sell me his land so I can build a garage. smile

150k. Wasn't expecting that. Loved the zagato at the owners club meet.

good show, I didnt expect it to fetch that either, for a non factory restoration...still its only worth what someone will pay for it as always and as the auctioner said, you only need 2 that want it

Enjoyed it, though I'm not sure if my memory is playing tricks on me but I'm sure the first series showed more of the actual resto work being carried out? Liked the colour combo personally, to be fair I doubt if I have the first thing in common with the AMOC crowd saying that. Find them a likeable pair, watched car S.O.S straight after and struggle with the presenter in that case, Tim.

Curious one that; £37.5 on buying the car, £50k on engine, gearbox and parts and, according to Glenister, 6,000 hours of work. Even at £50/hour I make that £300k's worth of work. So that's nearly £400k it owes them !??!

Yes, very god point Rich. It's like on Wheeler Dealers, Mike will say at the end 'We made a profit of £800 on this car'. Not taking into account all the hours Ed China puts in!
