If I can find one in silver then the missus won't even notice!
Here you go………. https://used.astonmartin.com/en-GB/Search/Details~...You might have to disguise the bonnet vents though. And at 19K miles the clutch is probably about to go.

Sister car to mine, identical except mine has B & O and a few less miles.
Mine had the clutch replaced @ 3K miles because of the squeel discussed on here.
Go for it at least have a drive 'what harm can it do?'
If you're getting tired of it I'd do you a favour and take it off your hands of course..... Mine had the clutch replaced @ 3K miles because of the squeel discussed on here.

So as a relative newcomer to the delight of Vantage clutches (mine is pretty heavy and hasn't been changed in 35k miles so might not last too much longer) - am I right in thinking the simple solution is to take the car to BR, and get a replacement that will be much lighter, and last much longer?
How does the cost compare to the bargain OEM replacement?

about 3x more expensive approxmiately, depending on labour rate of where you goHow does the cost compare to the bargain OEM replacement?
as per the thread, replace wear parts only OE, £1200 fitted at DAE
a top spec one from BR is over £3k
35k miles isnt particularly high for a clutch on a Vantage.....there have been cars out there with 90k miles on original clutches
sure its heavy, you get used to it. My girlfriend never complains when she drives it, mind you she did used to drive TVRs daily for 7 years which were no better

So £3k+ for BR doesn't really seem so bad. Although a third of that would obviously be nice.
I think I am getting used to it - the main thing is that it does make my other cars feel a tad odd, since the clutch on them feels stupidly light after the Vantage.
