Thinking about it I couldn't cope with a car without premium audio. Full stop.

I have had one since 2007 with standard audio, and never been tempted to upgrade ....everyone is different I guess

some people are happy in their home with a £500 speakers on an ipod, others have £30k speakers etc.. its all relative

I went from Premium to Standard and do miss the former slightly. The standard is still reasonable. Paralight can upgrade to Prem for about £1800 I think

Early V8Vs are fantastic ownership propositions. I lost £5k on my MY07 in just over 3yrs and 13,000 miles (bought private with 18 months transferrable warranty, sold private) and there were no unexpected costs.

I can see why values would creep up when you look at the cost to change to anything else remotely interesting.
