Fronts are 255/35/ ZR19 (96Y) XL and 295/30 ZR19 (100Y) XL at the back.

Costco lists them, but my nearest's a schlep away. Until very recently the Michelin website has always only offered the PSS and Alpins when I plug in the car details. Blackcircles also now lists them.

What worries me about moving to PS4Ss is that I 'll have less excuse for driving like Miss Daisy's in the passenger seat.

Does anyone know if 305 or 315 rears will fit a vantage v12s? My summer tyres are Michelin supersports, but I reckon with the power pack an increase in width to the rear might be a good shout smile btw, my supersports are running on amr rims, if that makes any difference?

Old thread I know, but the title seemed pretty definitive.

Been told Corsa's are no longer available.

Been offered Pirelli PZero 4G as an alternative but know many here have gone with Michelin PS4S.

Swaying towards the PS4S, unless anyone has any more current info.

Many thanks

Just push the button on PS4S and be done.

Like driving a totally different car

Are you sure Corsa’s are no longer available?
Is this UK only or worldwide?
I guess I’m in the minority but I love Corsa’s on mine, I do live in a warmer climate though (South of France).
The only drawback is when it rains, you need to be extra careful but other than that they’re perfect for my use.
I think they really suit the car.
I’d be very disappointed should they no longer be available.

I know this is a V12 thread however, for what its worth I had PS4S fitted to my V8 recently and can confirm they are way better than the AM approved tyres. I have no doubt they will improve the feel and ride of the V12 also.

I think the key is your warmer climate mate! Sure they are great on a warm, dry day... But here in the UK, those two things only come together once every 7 years. biggrin

Just what my (usually reliable) tyre guy told me.

Will dig a bit deeper.

Hmm.

This may be a little tricky.

Camskill couldn't source the Corsa's, and wouldn't quote the PS4S, as they were "not homologated for the car and would invalidate insurance" mad

Suggested I contact Aston.

Aston Hatfield didn't answer the phone.

Aston Brentford confirmed Corsa no longer in production at Pirelli. Pirelli have "something new" coming, but not available yet.

They did offer Pirelli PZero (not Corsa) at £450 ish per corner.

Nice chap at Micheldever is looking for either Corsas or PS4S, but hasn't rung back yet.

The Conti SportContact 6 and the new Bridgestone Potenza Sport perform on the same level as the Michelin PS4S.
And they are available both for the V8Vs and the V12Vs. Front 245/40 ZR19 and 255/35 ZR19, rear 285/35 ZR19 and 295/30 ZR19 .
By the way, tyres don´t need to be homologated for a specific car in the EU. I would be surprised if the BREXIT has changed that for the UK.
Especially for the V8Vs the new Bridgestone Potenza Sport is a huge improvement vs. the old Potenza RE050A.

I bought my PS4S's from Camskill - delivered to AM Leeds and fitted by them for me. No need to call them , just order online and job's done.

I don't believe fitting tyres of the correct size and rating, that out perform the old tyres in every single way would invalidate your insurance. They are far safer that Corsas, pretty much all round. In fact Corsas are summer only tyres - so if you crash in the ice / winter conditions, you are more likely to have a problem with that with the insurance company in all liklihood.

I also used Camskill to source my ContactSport 6's for my V8V (no PS4S in my front size in EU). I just ordered by size and had them sent to BR, who did the fitting. Contis are homologated but not specifically tuned for a Vantage. Still miles better than the Bridgestones that were.

This is a V12 Vantage Tyre thread - the only two oficially approved tyres are the Pirelli PZero and Pirelli PZero Corsa. Other makes may apply to V8V, b ut not V12V.

Not that this fact influenced me fitting Mitchelins this time around.

Not sure where you are based, but given the locations may I suggest trying https://blackboots.co.uk/ in Chesham.

They recently supplied PS4S for me and a couple of sets of PSS in the past, price is fair, service excellent and always look after your wheels when fitting.

Ah, my apologies. I didn't appreciate that being cylindrically challenged prevented me from posting a related experience with Camskill, ContractSport 6's and the fact that the only approved tyres for a V8V are Bridgestones.

I'll stick to plebeian threads in future.

Recently fitted PS4S Michelins all round on my V12VS. Vastly improved ride comfort and much quieter. Grip seems better too.
All fitted by my main dealer when I refused point blank to have the Pirellis again. After a short chat where they went through the motions of trying to convince me to go with the 'approved tyre' (Pirelli) they agreed to source and fit the PS4S instead.
I also had the set up 'Road Force Balanced' which costs a bit more but apparently is better than normal balancing?

Its not about cylindrical challenges or otherwise but the type approval on the tyres for the V12V and V8V are very different, no overlap whatsoever.

So posting here about Contis and Bridgestones is just going to confuse people who read it in the future - as is seen here, threads can be picked up years later. So it is important that posts are relevent and accurate.

No offense meant smile

The CoC, which is the type approval document, does not list any specific tyre or brand for the Vantage, just the sizes (at least in my case).
There is no such thing as a homologation of a specific tyre.
In fact the tyre manufacturers (Pirelli for the V12V, Bridgestone for the V8V) developed specific variants in cooperation with Aston Martin - and these tyres are used by the factory as original equipment of the cars. It is really bad enough that they had been using these tyres until end of production. Fortunately the tyre manufacturers kept developing better and more appropriate tyre variants. It would be strange if someone would not take advantage and would not buy any of the better suited tyres if replacement is needed.
among these better tyres are the Conti SportContact 6, the new Bridgestone Potenza Sport, and the Michelin PS4S. I cannot understand why there are still people considering to purchase the completely outdated original equipment tyres. I mean, we are not driving vintage cars where you love to have original parts at any cost? We are looking for grip and comfort.

You are wrong.

Pirelli Sottozero - Aston Martin sold them along with wheels for winter. I bought my set from Aston Martin Brentwood (hello Garry!)

Indeed. Which is why, in the spirit of relevance and accuracy, I point out that your comment about type approval of tyres is completely incorrect. It would never do for any future readers to read this thread and believe that specific tyres were type approved for either Vantage
