Just wanted to bump this thread to thank the OP.

I'd seen the car a couple of days before the thread popped up, and was dithering, procrastinating and generally failing to make up my mind.

The thread gave me just the nudge I needed, though I'm not sure the sudden surge in interest helped price negotiation from my perspective!

Picked her up on Christmas Eve, and finally a sunny evening and a clean car coincided, hence the pic and the opportunity to say hello.

Have to admit to being very much an Aston virgin. If only there was some sort of event I could attend to meet up with other owners.....

(Incidentally, can't praise the Dealer, SVR, highly enough. Really good experience from start to finish, and still getting calls now to check all is Ok, help arrange servicing, warranty etc. Official Noble Dearer now too!)

Congrats on the car David, enjoy it! If I remember correctly it is in a rare grigio titanio colour, Lw-seats and a lot of alcantara! You were faster than me, I was going to see the car that week end to buy it!! It was perfect timing for you wink

Out of curiosity, I guess you did pay asking px, correct? That same car could be easily worth £10-15k more at current prices. I literally noticed yesterday that also V8 Vantage's asking prices have been raised by £4-5k (assume it happened over the past couple of weeks).

No, that's my drive. Hammerhead is a much more open left then right which highlights both understeer and oversteer.
wink

Plus B&O, and a trick Capristo exhaust, complete with remote, to go from loud to batst mental loud. Seems to be short of a couple of cats as well (all original bits safely tucked up in the garage!).

Px? I sensed there was a little wiggle room when I first viewed the car, which disappeared to almost nothing once the world and his wife started asking for viewings.

Appreciating? Maybe, but not the point for me. It's a toy to be enjoyed on high days and holidays. May have used the "appreciating asset" line on the wife to justify my Christmas present though...

Exactly the one I remember, the color suits that car perfectly!

More than appreciation, I was looking at the V12V at that price levels to stay away from depreciation, as you said, is a toy, and it HAS to be used. ..Regardless of wife approval wink
