It just get's better Ed. Surely if you can get a Vulcan then a 1-77, a GT12 and a V12 Zagato are a doddle for a man of your talents. Are Bamford Rose doing exhaust switches again this time?
Season's greetings to you & yours.
Will shall have to wait and see Pete on the car front, but your a tuff cookie to please….. but be assured I'll be on the case.Season's greetings to you & yours.
I haven't spoken at any length to Mike about BR's input at Burghley 2016 but I did mention to him about not doing the switches as I can't have cars driving about the field for safety reasons this time.
As the Event grows as does the hazards we must avoid for all the H & S that goes hand in hand with these things these days, you'll know all about risk assessments in your line of work I'm sure...
If people want Mike's units I'm sure he will be pleased to hear from them but Clive as mentioned in the previous post will be fitting them mobile through out the day.
BTW……..Have a good un and see you soon.
Hi all,
In the spirit of Burghley, charity and to expose my lack of knowledge of wheel tyres and over zealous bidding on EBay I have decided to donate a set of recently bought and refurbished Vantage V8 alloys (without tyres). Pictures below and are ideal as a spare set for winter tyres. Worth anything from £350 upwards so come on dig deep I will donate the full amount to the charity adding the tax aspect as well.
Ed
Will let you know at the end of Jan on the V12 Zagato front I am told he has 12 in his collection so hopefully we can secure one for the day considering the company it will be amongst.
Regards
Graham

Just spotted it on the list Ed. Awesome - you're on fire! That just leaves one more to go on my list of treats then ……...Btw a One 77 signed up to attend today……………….
Lets just say irons are in fires and the fires are warming up nicely……….Oh I do love a challenge.
Have a great New Year…...
During your day at Burghley you will now be able to have a Clive Chedzey Exhaust Bypass Switch fitted to your car.
Clive has kindly donated 25 units to the cause with all the proceeds going to our Charities of the Day.
If you would like to take up Clive's most generous offer and book your appointment for Clive to visit your car whilst at Burghley please email Clive.
clive.chedzey@ntlworld.com
Clive tells me he can fit these switches in under 10 minutes so go on lets make it "Challenge Clive",the cost to have your switch fitted on the day is £80.00 and as
I mentioned previously that goes in full to charity.
Check out the units on Clives website www.cccharger.co.uk if you wish as they are extremely good units.
Thats another super donation generously made to support this Event thank you and if anyone else would like to offer anything whether it be for the Raffle or Auction I'd be pleased to hear from you…….

What else you got going on then....
All sorts are going on in my mad Plate Spinning World, Tony………….If its a raffle you like there's plenty of prizes being assembled such as from the courier who arrived this week with a bottle of Chilgrove Gin accompanied by its stable mate in the form
of a bottle of Chilgrove Vodka both very kindly donated by Rob or as the forum may know him Vanquish 310………….Cheers Rob.
The Auction lots are gathering pace as well with a nice little treasure chest in the making.
A pair of Aston Martin Sun Glasses arrived via my mate Mick this week after AM Edinburgh delivered his new to him Torro DB9,a very kind gesture by the boys north of the border as they list up on the internet at £469.. a pair and so good of Mick to donate them straight on to me.
Paintshield have generously donated a standard kit of their Paint protection film which is to be fitted at their Peterborough premises, whilst our Detailer of Choice Paddy has contributed his services for the day to detail and G tech' protect the lucky bidders pride and joy.
RS fabrications have donated a set of 200 Cell Cats for the those looking for that little bit more and we have various Services and things also in hand.
Loads more beans to spill along the way on the R and A front that can wait a bit longer in my Event swag bag.
The cars are registering steadily as we are now at 189 as of this evening so we are going in the right direction and my Virgin Money Page has had £1659.57 sent to it by way of kind donation so far, thank you .
All this and the year has hardly started.
Any one wishing to make a difference is most welcome to visit my Virgin money giving page which can be found on the main Burghley registration thread at the top of the page.
There's also now on the go my secret Pre Event for the Saturday which I'm not to mention on forms and alike so anybody interested in doing something slightly different on the 2nd of July
please email for details.
You will need to be in the Stamford area by 11 am though to partake in this visit on Saturday the 2nd of July..

quick question, when do the auction and raffle actually take place, is it during the day on Sunday?
James,The Auction and Raffle takes place on the Sunday at Burghley circa 2 pm.
The full list of items appearing in the Auction will be well publicised in advance of the Event.
If any non attendee's wish to make a bid for any item they can just contact me prior to the event to lodge their bid.
HTH,
Ed.

You not going to set up mobile wifi and take online bids in real time Ed? I'm barely capable of stringing a sentence together less set up mobile wifi and conducting a mobile on line Auction………….
Mind you I may have to do some work on organising a PA system as I was horse for a week after shouting all through the Raffle and Auction off last time...
There again there may well be plenty of volunteers wanting to do the yodelling this time round…..
