These pictures made me like the DB11

That colour suits it well. And well photographed. Looks very purposeful. I'll definitely be considering one in a couple of years - if it has more rear seat and head space, which it doesn't look like. Or maybe the new Vantage...
I'm very curious, as discussed in other threads as to what they'll do with the Vanquish / new range topper. That should be awesome.
Currently though the Vanquish stilllooks beautiful and, dare I say it, slimline and sleek compared to the seemingly brutish looking DB11...I await to see it in the flesh.

I remember seeing someone - maybe it was Andy Palmer at the launch - saying that legroom has improved by some 8cm (?), and headroom also. He/they said it was now a true 4 seater. Wish I could find it to qualify my memory of the topic, but searching through hours of vids is not my favourite pastime. Still looks cramped to me.Yes, definitely the body colour-matched roof strake makes all the difference and unifies the design, and that's a gorgeous shade. I'm warming to the wheels too in that colour.
But Marek said his motto was that Andy's mother must be able tell the cars apart, so maybe that's why they put in the contrasting strake colour.

I love the Vanquish and it doesn't seem to have dated with the DB11's intro. But what I like most about the DB11 is the larger grill. For me the whole essence of Aston Martin is the presence of that grill as the car approaches, and is the defining DNA of the brand. I think they've followed this very well with the DB11.Take a tour around the car with Tim. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60-DeDQ7VcE
Some interesting new features, the more I see it, the more I like it.

I really like the car, but the LCD tacho is truely hideous, it looks like its belongs in a footballers Lamborghini.. alongside the jet fighter ignition switch. I sure hope they do a graphics update for this to make it look vaguely classy.
I think this phase of LCD displays instead of gauges will last as long as digital dashboards have the last few times, I'm going to bet that the classier car makers like Aston will be back on analog gauges (for the Tacho and speed at least) before too long
Everyone who sits in my car comments on the gorgeous gauges, thats never going to happen in the DB11
