...that its not selling.

It seems that there have been a lot of AMV8 slots on eBay, but I've never seen one sell. Why do you reckon this is?

This one reckons that come delivery date, the cars will be swapping hands for £40k over list! Having a larf arent you? If you were that sure of the massive premium, then why are you selling your slot now for only £10k!?

Also,...., he has two slots: "one for me and one for the wife"? Really!?

Dont suppose this is any of you guys?

Would YOU be tempted to deal with a Jo Nobody on e-bay?

Sorry, but if I was in the market for a car with a premium, I'd head for a well known and recognised dealer.

Still, someone could be missing out on a good deal!

I think you'll find he's just asking too much!

He will be at least number 50 on the list so the car is still 15-18 months away. At this point the position in the queue is worth £2-3K

If he paid the 5 grand and waited till he had a gaurenteed delivery date and the dealer just wanted the spec (about 4 months before delivery, so a year away) I reckon then he could make the 8K premium he's asking, as the queues are only going to get longer once the car gets onto the road and on Top gear etc.....
