I was a member of AMOC but had to stand down because of their habit of wearing red trousers.
What's wrong with red trousers (see photo of last event)?I've had a look at the AMOC website but cannot find what I presume are pics of members in red trousers.
Hhhmm........members in red trousers........that could be open to misinterpretation.

Nij, I'm a member of a club of professionals who are car enthusiasts, would you like me to put something up on our FB page to see who can come? Fair few Lambo, Ferrari, Aston, Mclaren in the group, 1000+ members UK wide so should be able to hustle a few to Essex.Good afternoon Quarterly, thank you for providing me with an apposite photograph of an AMOC member resplendent in red trousers.
You all know that it was a tongue in cheek comment I made.
The gentleman in question,Mark,is the epitome of sartorial elegance, and displays such attire with casual aplomb.
May I be so bold to comment that it is rarely the case that others ,of the English persuasion ,manage to dress so casually elegant.
It is true that on formal occasions,a wedding buffet,a diplomatic soirée,or on a hunt, the English gentleman rises to the occasion, dressing appropriately and looking the part.
Sadly, however, one must look to our continental cousins to really see how they pull off the art of dressing causally whilst looking suave and elegant.
During a recent trip to Madrid I was pleasantly surprised to see just how elegant a mature man can look when dressing with style.

Vinnie, that would be excellent my friend! Just wait until tomorrow as I'm back from Venice tonight and will sort out a proper website and a new thread with more details... Nijius Maximus said:

Is this still on and if so can I tag along (subject to last minute work commitments)?
Would put on my red trousers but would clash with the pink car (V8V) ??
Hi Rob, yes it is still on. Both you and your Pink car are more than welcome. For true colour clash, if you are feeling ultra daring perhaps a Lime Green pair of trousers wouldn't go amiss Would put on my red trousers but would clash with the pink car (V8V) ??

Goody - thanks Dave.
What time and where, is it at Grange?
I'll leave it up to Nij to announce the details as he's done all the hard work, but I as usual there will probably be a convoy starting from Kings Cross for those that fancy it.What time and where, is it at Grange?
