Guilty of being an ex-TVR owner. Had a T350C recently. It was replaced with a C63 AMG, which was then replaced with my V8V.

Also on the drive is a W203 Merc C180 wagon (daily drive) and a mk1 Mazda MX-5 for day-to-day fun. No point taking an Aston on the daily commute, but it's a bit st to drive an automatic wagon on a sunny morning to work.

The Vantage replaced this:

And is joined on the driveway by these two:

I share your pain. Such a fun car to drive, couldn't be more different to the DB9. On narrow twisty country roads it won out hands down in the fun stakes.

I had owned mine from new in 2006, I paid £ 24,000 for it ! Not very comfy for long journeys though, I specced it with super-sports suspension which felt like they welded the wheels to the chassis. Mine was one of the last supercharged versions before they switched production to the new turbo model. I still hanker after the feeling of coming out of a corner, foot to the floor, feeling the steering go very very light, and hearing the banshee wail of the supercharger gulping for air....ah well.

I always have a Range Rover regardless of what other car(s) I currently have and rotate between my Aston and Bentley depending on weather and passenger/luggage requirements.

The wife has got rid of her Mini and gone for a Merc, which lets the "British" side down somewhat!

I must admit I do love the Range Rover albeit never yet got around to actually owning one. Maybe one day I will.

Haven't had mine too long although I reckon I'll be keeping it.
Only 30k miles with a heavily breathed on motor but completely std in appearance.
The turbo lag is quite hilarious evil

Mine ended up at 380hp although I'd say it was best at 300hp. We tried many bespoke parts on it, diffs, brakes, dampers, control arms, front and rear hubs, the list goes on, ultimately there was very little left of the original car...lol
I've got a lot of good contacts associated with all things RS so if you need any help/advice in the future please drop me a line on here, hope you enjoy the car as much as I did...

Here's the daily driver - during the week does the job entirely using plug-in charging. Helps me stay carbon neutral(ish) for the weekend...

Nick,

You like dark / black cars then?

Quite a cleaning regime you have got yourself there.

Very nice.
